Where can I download the CRAM data?

All data collected under the CRAM study is freely available for download and use on the DataFirst Open Data Portal. After registering as a user you will be able to download the data and the metadata.

What are the types of questions asked in NIDS-CRAM?

There are a number of questions on household income, employment, hunger, receipt of grants, healthcare, and COVID-19. The full questionnaires for all waves are available here.

Did you receive ethical clearance for NIDS-CRAM?

Yes. We received ethical clearance from the University of Cape Town Commerce Ethics Committee (REC 2020/04/017) and reciprocal ethics from Stellenbosch University.
